David Smotrich & Partners LLP was the prime architectural consultant responsible for the design and construction documents that included: demolition, masonry restoration, replication of terracotta, brick parapets and reconstruction of the chimneys as well as the addition of security lighting and reconstruction of entrance slabs. As additional services, the SCA requested that the entire roof be redesigned. This building restoration falls under the guidelines of SHPO. The project’s reconstruction was extremely detailed and required expert analysis of the façade problems to generate a tight, biddable set of construction documents.
