The Dubinsky Multi-Functional Center, a regularly utilized faculty space and rentable event venue, underwent a full modernization while retaining its original room configuration. A key design feature was the introduction of stackable sliding glass walls, enhancing spatial flexibility for lectures and dining functions. Two lecture rooms and adjacent restrooms were also upgraded.
The design incorporated continuous linear lighting within a new acoustic metal ceiling, paired with cove and wall washer lighting to accentuate artwork. A refined material palette of red and charcoal gray brings understated sophistication. Integrated AV solutions—including flat screens, wireless podiums, and a discreet sound system—deliver seamless functionality without visual clutter. Upgrades included all new HVAC, fire protection, electrical, and IT systems. Advanced 3D modeling and daylight harvesting were employed to refine spatial quality and efficiency.
