This project won multiple local awards for its thoughtful design and community impact. Woodstock Meadows Senior Housing consists of 24 interlocking one-bedroom cottage-style units, designed as the first publicly assisted senior housing in the arts-focused town of Woodstock, New York. Each unit is oriented southward and opens directly onto a shared lawn, with pathways connecting them to a central community building. The community center includes a porch, sitting areas, laundry facilities, and a great room, promoting social interaction and a strong sense of community. Initially opposed by the town, the project’s success led to a request for 24 additional units.
