This project involved the adaptive reuse and restoration of a landmark building for the NYS Office of Mental Health, DASNY, and the NYS Department of Social Services. The upper four floors were reconfigured into forty-one-bedroom apartments, while the ground floor was transformed to accommodate commercial, restaurant, and office spaces. The building’s exterior was meticulously restored to its original 1912 appearance, including a newly crafted cornice that faithfully matches the historic design. The project received the New York State Association of Architects Excellence in Design Award, the Westchester/Mid-Hudson Chapter AIA First Honor Award for Architectural Excellence and was featured in Architectural Record.
