Originally designed in the 1970s, the Youth Recreation Building continues to serve as a vibrant and active community youth center. The facility features a gymnasium/assembly hall, dedicated rooms for boxing and ballet, a workshop, game rooms, kitchen, art studios, support spaces, and administrative offices. Thoughtfully designed and sensitively sited, the building allows natural light to reach most areas—thanks to strategically placed skylights, even in below-grade spaces.
