Ms. Homan serves as the Managing Partner and Principal-in-Charge, overseeing the firm’s legal, technical, and financial responsibilities. With over 28 years at the firm and a Partner since 1998, she has led efforts in design, quality control, staffing, and client relations.
After the passing of founder David Smotrich, FAIA, in 2010, Ms. Homan purchased the firm and now leads it alongside her current partner, Clare Smith, AIA. She is dedicated to upholding the firm’s 50-year legacy of excellence, quality, and client satisfaction.
She is actively involved in every phase of a project, ensuring that both the architectural team and sub-consultants meet the highest standards in quality, scheduling, budget, and client objectives. With 33 years of experience in architecture, interior design, and landscape design, she has played a key role in many of the projects listed below—as well as hundreds of others.
