David Smotrich & Partners LLP designed and managed the construction of a 70,000-square-foot facility for Turning Stone, New York’s first legalized casino. The $16 million project features multiple gaming areas, three distinct restaurants, a gift and smoke shop, and support facilities. Barrel vault skylights span the length of the building, flooding the interior with natural light and creating a vibrant atmosphere enhanced by bold graphics and vivid colors against a crisp white backdrop.
Situated on a 385-acre site, the project also included the design and construction of two freshwater ponds, extensive landscape architecture, parking for patrons and staff, and on-site potable water and tertiary sewage treatment facilities. Today, Turning Stone Casino stands as a thriving regional employer and has expanded into a premier, multi-million-dollar destination resort.
